"Almost Mykonos"    36" x 48"

This painting was inspired by my two trips to the Greek island, one of the most magical places in the world.  There's a feeling there you just cannot explain totally with three dimensional logic.  This is a slightly idealized version of a real restaurant - the picture is accurate except for the central building that is all lit up in the background, which was my invention of the most exciting night spot possible.  I've always loved bright colorful light at night, and the water feel, and this scene fulfills all my love for those things.
