The Pooch Portraits here were all done as commissions, over a period of several years in the 1990s.  Each one began with a photo shoot, during which I made lots of meow noises and discussed the true personality of their doggies.  These paintings all live in the homes of their owners, probably by now most of them are no longer there in person (or dog), but it is my hope that these paintings preserve the spirit of these beautiful creatures.    Enjoy.
