bottlebrush pond  24" x 36"

This most amazing bottlebrush plant grows in South Florida and I'm sure many other similar places, but I was amazed when one year I encountered it in full bloom, delicate little red floral brushes everywhere.  This one in particular is located behind a building in the Lincoln section of Century Village, Boca Raton, where my mother-in-law has an apartment.  The background is somewhat idealized, as I decided to ignore the other buildings and the road on the other side of the pond.  The tree deserves to be the solo star of this scene.  Amazing plant....
