Iris Jungle   24" x 48"

This painting is a self-indulgence of my love of being buried in gardening and living plants.  Anyone who has been in my home and seen my all-seasons indoor jungle understands this.  When I was painting this one I felt as if I were walking into a deep dark woods, surrounded totally by the green and violet, cool and cozy.  Sometimes I stop and look at it and pretend I'm going to step inside. 

The colors toward the bottom of this picture are more accurate than the less intense ones at the top, though I love them all.
